Google Integrating Feature of Assistant Support

Google integrating feature of Assistant Support & Calendar Reminder with Daily Tasks as part of its most recent round of app cleanup efforts. By integrating its to-do systems, the firm hopes to make it simpler for you to manage your chores and reminders from any of these three apps.

As of right now, Google Tasks, which debuted as a standalone app in 2018, operates independently. In the iOS and Android apps as well as through a side panel in Gmail or Google Drive on the web, you can make tasks, subtasks, and set reminders.

They don’t actually appear on your Assistant reminders, though. Additionally, users may become confused by Calendar’s two distinct options for creating tasks and reminders.

With an update that will be released in the upcoming months, Google is attempting to change this. Once it’s live, users will be able to make reminders with Google Assistant, and those reminders will appear in both Tasks and Calendar lists.

At the predetermined time, they will additionally receive a notification for the task completion reminder.

By converting Assistant and Calendar Reminders to Google Tasks, we’ll soon be streamlining our task management options.

This means that whether you create your to-dos using Assistant or Calendar, you will now have a simple method to view and manage them in one location with Google Tasks, the business said in a blog post.

Users will be prompted to test out the new integrated Task experience when using Calendar or Assistant in the upcoming months, according to Google. Additionally, after the transfer is finished, the organization will delete the Calendar Reminder alternatives.

Keep in mind that, Google Keep allow you to set reminders for your own defined tasks. But there’s no integration with Google’s note-taking app with this update, so we’ll just have to keep waiting for a mega to-do integration from the company.
